Rodney Hill joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in its tax practice group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Hill advises on the tax aspects of transactions, with a focus on investment fund formation and mergers and acquisitions involving investment fund sponsors, the firm said. He advises on the structuring and formation of private equity funds, hedge funds, funds-of-funds, and separate accounts across alternative asset classes, including buyout, growth, venture, infrastructure, renewable energy, credit, and real estate. He also represents fund clients in acquiring interests in alternative asset managers and other corporate transactions.
