Laura Vartain Horn joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in the intellectual property practice group, the firm announced Monday.
Vartain Horn oversees complex corruption, civil rights and white collar matters, including investigations conducted in parallel with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm said.
She joins from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.
