Kate Vera has joined McDermott Will & Emory as a partner in New York, the firm said Monday.
Vera, who joins from Kirkland & Ellis, will head the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation practice, according to McDermott.
She handles executive compensation matters related to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring plans, initial public offerings, and carve-outs, said the firm.
