Kirkland & Ellis said Friday it hired Robert Eberhardt and William Nicholson from Norton Rose Fulbright in New York as partners.
Eberhardt, who is part of the debt finance practice group in New York, focuses on the North American independent power sector, including transaction types involving offshore and onshore wind, solar, conventional power, storage, and transmission, Kirkland & Ellis said in a statement.
Nicholson, a debt finance partner, is an infrastructure finance attorney with a range of experience in renewables and tax equity investments, the firm said.
Kirkland & Ellis’s energy & infrastructure practice group has over 350 lawyers in Texas, New York, San Francisco and Washington. They have advised on more than 700 energy and infrastructure transactions and represented over $285 billion of deal value, according to Kirkland & Ellis.
