Kirkland & Ellis Adds Capital Markets Partner Hossain to D.C.

Shagufa Hossain has joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in the Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Tuesday.

Hossain, who joins from Latham & Watkins, represents investment banks, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, and public and private companies in debt and equity financings as well as other capital markets transactions, according to Kirkland.

She advises public companies on corporate governance issues and has experience with leveraged buyouts and initial public offerings, Kirkland said.
