King & Spalding Taps Hanson as Government Investigations Partner

Matt Hanson rejoined King & Spalding as a partner in its special matters and government investigations practice group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.

Hanson represents companies and individuals on securities enforcement and regulation matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Justice Department, and other financial regulators. He also works on high-stakes congressional investigations before the US House and Senate, the firm said.

He joins from the Justice Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs, where he was deputy assistant attorney general.
