King & Spalding swiped nine partners from Winston & Strawn, including prominent Texas trial lawyer Tom Melsheimer, the firm announced Tuesday.
Melsheimer, a veteran litigator known for defending billionaire Mark Cuban on insider trading charges, co-chaired Winston’s global litigation department and led the firm’s Dallas office. He leaves Winston after nearly a decade at the firm.
King & Spalding is also bringing on Dallas litigators Steven Stodghill, Natalie Arbaugh, Rex Mann, Michael Bittner, Ahtoosa Dale, and Chad Walker. Stodghill has worked with Melsheimer for decades, dating back to the boutique litigation shop the pair founded in the early 90s with ...
