Matthew Kita joined King & Spalding as a partner in its finance and restructuring practice group in Charlotte, the firm announced Tuesday.
Kita joins from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was elevated to partner in October 2024. He focuses on leveraged finance, primarily representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on borrower-side transactions across a wide range of industries, deal sizes, and capital structures.
