King & Spalding Adds Ex-CMS Lawyer Hoskins to DC Health Team

David Hoskins joined King & Spalding as a partner in its healthcare team in Washington, DC, the firm announced Tuesday.

Hoskins defended CMS in litigation related to the Affordable Care Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, including managing and litigating hundreds of rate-setting challenges brought by health providers. He advised senior government officials on the matters and negotiated settlements with the private parties challenging them, the firm said.

He formerly worked at the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
