John Pierce has joined Kilpatrick as a partner and will be a member of the energy practice in the Seattle, Wash., office, the firm said Monday.
Pierce, who joins from Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, focuses his practice on structuring, development, and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, according to Kilpatrick.
He represents clients in connection to power generation projects, said the firm. Pierce also works with carbon mitigating credits, offsets and trading structures, and the creation and application of carbon trading protocols and markets.
