Katten Recruits IP Attorney Nathan Smith From Dechert as Partner

Nathan Smith joined Katten Muchin Rosenman as a partner in the firm’s London office, the firm said Monday.

Smith’s practice encompasses intellectual property law, including non-contentious, contentious, transactional, and commercial matters. He counsels clients on the protection, monetization, and enforcement of IP rights globally.

Smith counsels on global trademark clearance, IP and technology acquisitions, sales, and licensing. He also advises on IP aspects of corporate transactions and represents life sciences clients in complex collaborations and licensing deals.

He joins from Dechert.
