Katten Muchin Rosenman has elected Gil Soffer, a Chicago-based white collar defense partner, as its next chairman, the law firm said Wednesday.
Soffer in July will succeed Roger Furey, a Washington-based intellectual property partner who took on the role in 2016.
A Harvard Law School graduate, Soffer joined Katten in 2000 after six years as a federal prosecutor. He has served as managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office for a decade and co-chaired its litigation department.
