James C. Bookhout has joined Katten as a partner and chair of the mergers and acquisitions litigation practice in the Dallas office, the firm said Tuesday.
Bookhout represents clients in indemnification claims and fraud issues in M&A transactions, earnout disputes, handling of working capital and post-closing adjustment disputes, and litigating fiduciary duty, according to Katten.
His commercial litigation practice concentrates on pre- and post-closing M&A and investor disputes, said the firm.
