Kasowitz Partner Jumps to Lowenstein’s NY Office in Latest Exit

Kasowitz LLP litigator Jonathan Algor is joining Lowenstein Sandler’s New York office, the firm said Monday.

Algor is the latest in a string of departures for Kasowitz, the New York litigation boutique that saw a co-founder exit last month. The former federal prosecutor touted Lowenstein’s corporate transactions work, which he said will allow him to refer clients to his new colleagues.

“When you have clients that come to you with corporate issues, to be able to rely on an unbelievable bench from the corporate side is very attractive to me,” Algor said in an interview.
