K&L Gates Takes on Government Contracts Partner Freed in Newark

Rebecca Moll Freed has joined K&L Gates as a partner in the government contracts and procurement policy practice in Newark, N.J., the firm said Thursday.

Freed, who joins from Genova Burns, helps companies navigate regulatory frameworks in relation to political contributions, government contracting, and ethics rules, according to K&L Gates.

She advises corporations, trade associations, social welfare organizations, and political action committees on the legal aspects of their political activities, said the firm.
