K&L Gates Builds Corporate Practice With Two Partner Additions

Mattias Luukkonen and Michael Gorbak have joined K&L Gates as partners in its corporate practice, the firm said Monday.

Luukkonen, who joins the Orange County, Calif., office, represents clients in the life sciences industry on intellectual property and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, as well as general corporate matters, according to K&L Gates. He joins from Reed Smith.

Gorback joins the firm’s Palo Alto, Calif., office from Hanson Bridgett. His practice includes corporate formation, debt and equity financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, technology transactions, corporate governance, and securities regulation, said K&L Gates.
