Jennifer Mazawey has joined K&L Gates as a partner in the real estate practice area in Newark, N.J., the firm said Tuesday.
Mazawey, who joins from Genova Burns, represents developers in phases of the development process, according to K&L Gates.
She also assists clients with permit acquisitions, and she has experience interfacing with regulatory agencies at the state and federal levels, said the firm.
