Rachelle Downie joined K&L Gates as a partner in its intellectual property practice in Melbourne, the firm announced Monday.

Downie acts for clients in complex, high-value IP disputes, with a focus in handling multijurisdictional pharmaceutical patent litigation, the firm said. She serves clients in the health, life sciences, technology, FMCG, mining, automotive, and fashion industries.

She joins from Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
