Derek Lacarrubba joined K&L Gates as a partner in its asset management and investment funds practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Lacarrubba assists broker-dealers, hedge funds, and asset managers on matters arising under rules of regulatory bodies. He advises on regulatory issues, focusing on trading practices, alternative trading system regulation, best execution practices, and compliance with various regulations, the firm said.
He joins from Schulte Roth & Zabel.
