A federal judge threatened sanctions and chastised lawyers for “immature sniping” after they disagreed over email about filing a four-page brief and rescheduling a court hearing in a case involving Walgreen Co. and the law firm Crowell & Moring.
In a brief minute order Friday, US District Judge Ana Reyes appeared to rebuke lawyers from Munger Tolles & Olson and Reed Smith, though she didn’t name any lawyers or firm in her order. She instructed lawyers from both firms to send her order to their clients.
