JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank Epstein Deals Offer Lawyers $110 Million

The lawyers who sued JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Deutsche Bank AG on behalf of victims of Jeffrey Epstein stand to make $110 million in fees from settlements with the banks.

The two law firms representing the victims, on Thursday night asked US District Judge Jed Rakoff in Manhattan to approve the proposed $290 million settlement of their class action suit against JPMorgan, allotting 30% of that amount to the lawyers in fees. The lawyers are asking for the same percentage of Deutsche Bank’s proposed $75 million deal.
