Kelly Haas joined Jones Walker as a partner in its maritime practice group in Houston, the firm announced Monday.
Haas represents vessel owners, charters, shipyards, offshore operators, and energy clients regarding collisions, property damage, personal injury, pollution, environmental, cargo, insurance, construction, and contract claims. Her practice includes conducting investigations, vessel arrest, indemnity demands, and administrative proceedings, and she guides clients through mediation, arbitration, litigation, and appeals, the firm said.
She joins from Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea & BenMaier, according to her LinkedIn profile.
