Laura D’Angelo joined Jones Walker as a partner in its gaming industry team in Lexington, Ky., the firm announced Tuesday.

D’Angelo’s practice focuses on equine, racing, and gaming law. She represents horse show and competition organizers, racetracks, riders, owners, trainers, breeders, trade associations, commercial lenders, and private equity firms. She advises on horse purchases and sales, syndicate and partnership formation, licensing of competitions, real estate transactions, and commercial horse farm operations, the firm said.
