Jones Day on Monday named new leaders for its corporate practice a week after losing the head of the mergers and acquisition group to Davis Polk & Wardwell.
Partners Andy Levine, Randi Lesnick and Vica Irani will oversee firm transactional work worldwide, including M&A and private equity, the firm said in a statement.
The appointments come after James Dougherty, the global head of its M&A practice, left the firm to join Davis Polk. The firm had said in response to that move it “is implementing practice leadership changes in connection with its transition to a new managing partner.”
