Jones Day Adds Finance Industry Veterans, Eyes Deregulation

Jones Day is bulking up its financial regulatory practice with two new partners as the firm prepares for a more active role advocating for changes before Trump administration agencies.

The firm has hired Michael Dawson, a former WilmerHale partner, and Nicholas Podsiadly, a one-time US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation general counsel who most recently worked in-house at Fifth Third Bancorp.
