Joe Yaffe Bids Big Law Adieu for Robinhood Mogul’s Space Venture

After 31 years in private practice working with some of the biggest names in Big Tech, Joseph Yaffe is moving in-house.

Yaffe, 56, retired Dec. 31 from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he was managing partner of the law firm’s office in Palo Alto, California, and a member of its board. He’s now chief operating and legal officer for Aetherflux Inc., a new company led by Robinhood Markets Inc.‘s co-founder Baiju Bhatt and one of a growing number of space technology outfits seeking Big Law guidance as it hopes to break through in the final frontier.
