Jenner & Block’s Exelon Ties Stay Strong With New Legal Chief

Exelon Corp. has hired a former federal prosecutor to serve as its new top lawyer as the Chicago-based energy company emerges from a bribery scandal.

Gayle Littleton, co-chair of the investigations, compliance, and defense practice at Jenner & Block in Chicago, will soon replace Thomas O’Neill as senior vice president and general counsel at Exelon.

An Exelon spokesman said that “after more than 19 years of valued service,” O’Neill will leave the company at year’s end in order to “to take a senior position at a law firm.” That firm is Jenner, which in an Oct. 23 press release said ...
