J&J’s Future Talc Rep Asks Judge to Revisit Bankruptcy Dismissal

A Johnson & Johnson unit’s dismissal from bankruptcy court should be reconsidered because it will hinder potential recovery for some talc claimants, a future claims representative said.

The representative, Randi Ellis, said in a motion filed Monday that J&J is willing to address issues with its subsidiary’s failed Chapter 11 plan, which was meant to settle for $9 billion thousands of talc-related lawsuits by women.
