Cancer claimants trying to prevent Johnson & Johnson from filing a third bankruptcy for a subsidiary are demanding access to depositions from five executives taken in two prior Chapter 11 filings.
J&J was kicked out of a New Jersey bankruptcy court twice in recent years when it tried to spin off its liabilities into LTL Management LLC to settle tens of thousands of talc-related lawsuits stemming from claims that its baby powder product caused cancer.
