IronSource’s Challenge to Mobile App-Installation Patent Tossed

Mobile gaming company IronSource Ltd. can’t appeal an administrative tribunal’s ruling that let competitor Digital Turbine Inc. modify parts of a patent describing a process for installing mobile apps, the Federal Circuit said.

IronSource didn’t show it or its customers were at sufficient risk of being sued for infringing the modified patent to establish standing in the case, the appeals court said.
