iRobot Investors File Appeal to Revive Securities Fraud Claims

iRobot Corp. investors who alleged the company misrepresented its proposed merger with Amazon.com Inc. are attempting to bring their proposed shareholder class action back to life.

The investors filed an appeal in the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, after a Massachusetts district court dismissed the suit with prejudice last month. The investors alleged iRobot and its top executives downplayed the regulatory hurdles the proposed $1.4 billion deal was facing from US and European antitrust agencies. But Judge William G.
