Nicholas Cassin has joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the investment funds group in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Cassin, who joins from Kirkland & Ellis, advises secondaries buyers and fund sponsors on fund liquidity transactions across alternative asset classes, according to Sidley.
He is experienced in traditional portfolio sales, preferred equity and stapled secondaries, and GP-led restructurings, said the firm.
