Intellia Therapeutics Inc. investors can’t proceed with a proposed class action alleging the biotechnology company misrepresented the timeline and animal data for a gene-insertion therapy, a federal court ruled Thursday.
Although the investors sufficiently alleged that some statements about nonhuman primate data were false, they fell short on other aspects of their securities fraud claims, Judge Denise J. Casper said for the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
