Infinite Computer Solutions Sued by Insurer Over Data Breach

Infinite Computer Solutions Inc. faces a lawsuit alleging it violated an agreement to secure $3 million in liability insurance coverage for City of Hope National Medical Center, which was hit with a massive data breach.

Starr Surplus Lines Insurance Co., which insures City of Hope under an excess information security insurance policy, alleged the information technology services provider violated an agreement to obtain liability coverage with client City of Hope as an additional named insured. Starr Surplus Lines filed its suit Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Maryland.
