Jeremy Paner joined Hughes Hubbard & Reed as a partner in its sanctions, export controls, and anti‑money laundering practice in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Paner’s practice focuses on compliance with trade sanctions and national security related matters, with a focus on US economic sanctions, the firm said.
He advises clients in industries including finance, cryptocurrency, asset management, heavy equipment, automotive, mining, media, entertainment, freight forwarding, electronics, food and beverage, communications and internet services, clothing and apparel, precious stones and gems, and defense.
