HubSpot Legal Chief Exits Following Failed Sale to Google

HubSpot Inc., a sales and marketing software company whose proposed sale to Alphabet Inc.’s Google fell apart this year, will see its top lawyer leave Dec. 31.

Alyssa Harvey Dawson, head of the legal and compliance teams at HubSpot, will resign on that date as chief legal officer and corporate secretary but stay in a transitional role until March 1, 2025, per a securities filing by the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company. Her severance will be four months of salary.
