HSF Notches Revenue, Profit Gains Ahead of Kramer Levin Merger

Herbert Smith Freehills reported increases in its revenue and profits in the year leading up to the global law firm’s June merger with New York’s Kramer Levin.

The firm’s revenue ticked up by 4% to £1.4 billion ($1.9 billion) for the year ending April 30, it said in a statement. Profit per equity partner rose slightly to £1.4 million ($1.9 million) at the firm, which has roots in the UK and Australia.
