HSF Kramer Pulls In Ex-DOJ Antitrust Attorney in US Growth Push

One of the Justice Department’s senior antitrust lawyers under President Joe Biden is joining HSF Kramer as the firm grows its US partnership.

John Elias, a former deputy assistant attorney general, will work in the firm’s DC office, where starting Monday he will help clients navigate the government’s antitrust enforcement, HSF Kramer said in a statement.

Firm leaders consider Elias “a cornerstone hire in the US and for our global antitrust capabilities,” said Kyriakos Fountoukakos, the firm’s managing partner of competition, regulation and trade, in the statement.
