HSF Chair Wins Another Term Ahead of Kramer Levin Merger

Herbert Smith Freehills chair and senior partner Rebecca Maslen-Stannage won another four-year leadership term as the firm prepares to officially combine with New York’s Kramer Levin.

An Australian corporate lawyer, Maslen-Stannage made partner at Herbert Smith Freehills in 2000 and maintains an active practice while holding the leadership position. She has recently advised SGH Ltd. on its takeover of construction materials company Boral, cement producer Adbri Ltd. on its acquisition by building materials conglomerate CRH plc and Blackmores Ltd. on its acquisition by Japanese drinks maker Kirin Holdings Co. Ltd., the firm said in a statement.
