Hooters Looks to Big Law Practice Leader for New Legal Chief

Hooters of America LLC, a restaurant chain known for its chicken wings and waitstaff, has named a labor and employment lawyer as its new chief legal officer.

Alisa Pittman Cleek, a partner and co-head of the labor and employment practice at Taylor English Duma in Atlanta, steps into the role after serving as outside counsel to Hooters. The private equity-owned company has found itself a frequent litigation target since its founding in 1983.
