Holmes Prosecutor Joins Jones Day After Theranos Verdicts (1)

The lead prosecutor in the fraud conviction of Theranos Inc. founder Elizabeth Holmes has joined Jones Day, the law firm said Wednesday.

Jeff Schenk, a 17-year Justice Department veteran, will become a partner in the firm’s investigations and white collar defense practice in Palo Alto, California. His work led to the convictions of Holmes and former Theranos President Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani for lying to investors as the high-profile tech startup flamed out.
