Hollywood Lawyer Donates $5 Mln to UCLA School of Law

Kenneth Ziffren, a prominent Hollywood entertainment lawyer, donated $5 million to the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law for the creation of the Ziffren Center for Media, Entertainment, Technology and Sports Law, UCLA announced this week.

Ziffren, who co-founded the entertainment law firm Ziffren Brittenham in the late 1970s and has advised clients including Governor Jerry Brown, serves as an adjunct professor at UCLA and as chairman of its entertainment and media law program.

Ziffren was also chosen by Los Angeles Mayer Eric Garcetti as the city’s film czar in 2014.
