Holland & Knight hired a senior policy aide for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) to advise clients on tech and data privacy legislation.

Chris Jaarda joined the Florida-based firm’s Washington DC office as a partner in the public policy practice, Holland & Knight announced Thursday. His return to private practice will see him advise Holland & Knight’s clients on legislative strategy in areas of tech, data privacy, and consumer protection, the firm said.
