Holland & Knight Hires Crowell & Moring’s Welling for Security

Matthew Welling joined Holland & Knight as a partner in its data strategy, security and privacy team in Washington, DC, the firm announced Wednesday.

Welling has helped clients navigate hundreds of cybersecurity and data privacy incidents and focuses on proactive counseling to address cybersecurity and technology-linked risks. He also represents clients in energy sector regulatory, transactional, policy and litigation matters at state and federal levels, including before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state regulatory commissions, the firm said.

He joins from Crowell & Moring.
