Holland & Knight Adds Two M&A Lawyers From Reed Smith in Chicago

Matthew Petersen and Morley Fortier III have joined Holland & Knight from Reed Smith as partners in Chicago, the firm said Tuesday.

Petersen, who will head the Chicago corporate, M&A, and private equity practice, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial contracts, and strategic counseling, according to Holland & Knight.

Fortier works on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate governance issues for private equity funds and independent sponsors as well as their portfolio companies, according to the firm.
