Holland & Knight Adds Laterals from McDermott, Bracewell (1)

Holland & Knight has grabbed two new partners from other Big Law players to enhance teams in its Houston and New York offices, the firm announced Jan. 14.

Holland & Knight will expand its public finance practice in Texas with the hire of Derrick Mitchell, who comes to his new employer from the Houston offices of Bracewell, a firm with deep roots in the state.

Mitchell’s practice focuses on general obligation and revenue bonds, including transportation revenue, industrial revenue, higher education, mortgage revenue, pollution control and non-profit hospital bonds. Mitchell will also be a member of the firm’s national public ...
