John Saran has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the Chicago office, the firm said Tuesday.
Saran advises both healthcare companies and private equity investors on mergers and acquisitions and public offerings in the healthcare industry, according to Holland & Knight.
His regulatory practice concentrates on assisting clients with new state health care transaction laws as well as matters related to the corporate practice of medicine, fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, and state licensure, said the firm.
He previously practiced at Ropes & Gray.
