Ray Bonilla joined Holland & Knight as a partner in its education team in Austin, the firm announced Thursday.
Bonilla oversaw all legal services for eleven universities under the Texas A&M University System, which includes more than 170,000 students and approximately 30,000 employees. He managed all legal issues relating to governance, litigation, regulatory compliance, faculty and student affairs, research compliance, construction and real estate, international activities and Division 1 athletics, the firm said.
He joins from the Texas A&M University System.
