Chad Baker joined Holland & Hart as a partner in its environmental and natural resources practice in Salt Lake City, the firm announced Thursday.
Baker guides clients through mine closures and cleanup projects, including Superfund sites, and helps clients navigate permitting and regulatory compliance to remediate and repurpose land. He also handles environmental due diligence on transactions, identifying potential liabilities and options to mitigate risks, the firm said.
