Hogan Poaches 30 Stroock Partners, Leaving Law Firm Adrift (1)

More than 30 Stroock & Stroock & Lavan partners are set to join Hogan Lovells, leaving their former firm on the brink of dissolution.

The partners joining Hogan include Jeff Keitelman, the New York-based co-managing partner of Stroock and co-chair of its real estate group, Hogan said Friday. Other partners will join in New York, Washington, Miami, and Los Angeles.

The departures, which include several real estate lawyers, wipes out more than half of Stroock’s partnership. The nearly 150-year-old firm known for vaunted restructuring and real estate practices, has now seen both groups decimated.
